Transport

Although the barn is less than an hour by train from London, there is no public transport within 1.5 miles and it is a 30 minute walk to the nearest shops - a car is therefore essential for all but the briefest stays. Wadhurst Station is about five miles away and has regular trains which serve London Bridge, Cannon Street, Blackfriars, Waterloo, Charing Cross, Battle, Hastings, Ore and St Leonards. There is a small taxi rank at the station and the local bus service is reliable but infrequent. The nearest bus stop is 2 miles from the barn. If we are available we will arrange to collect you from and take you to Wadhurst Station at reasonable hours at a charge of £5 each way.
